Art to me is something someone makes that has to use their creativity. Some people are better then others at how they can think of something they want to make or draw and get it out on a piece of paper or a sculpture. Even if you just splatter paint on a canvas and rub paint wildly, that is still art, you use creativity in all art.
I think Marla is painting art, she is doing the same thing other adults do, painting. Both adults and her are using their imagination and creativity to paint, there is no difference except for the age. I personally believe a child that age could paint abstract art as well as a 45 year-old art degree person. Yes Marla could not paint an animal or scenery or anything like that, because she is not developed enough. Adults learn the styles of how to draw things by using shapes, and they have the experience of know how things actually look like in life.

Personal Picture~
The reason i drew this picture was to display the idea of peacefulness ad calmness. I always have drawn scenery and just decided to do it again here, I tried to use the 3Dness in it when i could. I like the fact that it shows the different was of life that all use the outdoors, form humans, fish, flowers, trees, and various animals.

Favorite Artists
Vincent Van Gogh: He is one of my favorte artist, his painting "starry night" is awesome. How he uses the night in sworls and all the colors mesh well. All around an amazing artist.
Pablo Picasso: His paintings are wierd and very hard to paint i would think. How do u picture the faces and stuff he paints in your head? I dont know how at all, but I think he is a great painter because of that and because of his talent in painting.
Paul Klee: He uses the best colors that can go together on the most original things. Its a ordinary man and a donkey, but he transforms it into a work of art.
Claude Monet: He brings out all of the scenery he does, and has proven it over and over, even though he is dead, he still has great artwork.
Paul Ranson: The flow of the pictures are nice, and it shows all degrees of scenery. The angles of the tree limbs are unique, I havn't seen many with this uniqueness.

Left and Right Brain
First Video: I found that the first video showed what the job opportunities want from artists. That there are people looking for people with computer and drawing skills, and that artists and needed. The video showed that new generation is a little bit faster than the older generations, and some colleges haven't adapted to it.
Second Video: I think that this video was the most interesting because it talked about all the different things that the sides of the brain did. How our society make us think left brained and that the make us memorize and remember and its how schools makes us learn. If we used our other side we would be different.
Third Video: I must say, the last video was a weird video and had people go across the street. I think they were showing the right side of the brain was the artistic side and the right brain was were the smarts were. I think it showed its point well, but kind of a stupid way, no-one even if they did use their right side of their brian only, would run across the street because of the color of the light.

What did i learn from each drawing exercise?
My Face: The drawing of my face, didn't resemble me very well, until I finally but little hair like things to the sides of my head/ears to show better. When you look at the eyes I drew, you can tell I cannot make eyes. It looks like my picture is about to get hit by a car or something. It is like it is very very surprised.
My Hand: My hand looks lie my actually, like compared to the size and everything. The wrist I drew though does not, it is just not wrist looking at all. The fingers I saw kinda look like fingers to me, but I still thought I had to make it look more finger looking, So drew little hairs on it and now I think it is complete ad looks pretty good.
My Drawing Of Someone From Memory: The person I drew, kinda looked like the picture I drew of me until I drew the hair, The totally different hair style and the fatter noise completed the picture that is suppose to look like my cousin. I decided that it wasn't one of my best works of art, but it was okay.
Upside-Down Man: When I drew the Upside-down man, I thought i drew it well, the body was pretty close to the original drawing that were drew from. The only thing I have to say bad about is, is that they face is like a melting wax person's head. Its quite deformed. It actually made me laugh looking at it.
